Album art lookup works at home, but not at Apartment

I have had eJukebox for over a year now and when I went home for Thanksgiving, for the first time ever, eJukebox was automatically looking up album art for the songs it was playing!

I gave up a long time ago on this feature figuring that eJukebox didn't like the music I was playing.

I have a wireless network set up at my house and at my apartment at school. I am guessing that there is some kind of a difference in the settings of the wireless router at either place (they are different brands - D-Link at home at Belkin at the apartment). Can anybody help me figure out what my router at my apartment is doing to block eJukebox from looking up album art?

I'd appreciate any kind of help that could be provided whether it be a port number that eJukebox might need for album art lookup or whatever else might fix this problem.

...dodn't know this automatic album cover art lookup feature existed! It doesn't work on my PC anyway, although it is behind an ISA firewall. I've just finished manually updating covers for 3500 tracks - dang :)

Ouch. Yeah, when I first purchased eJukebox I was under the impression that it was supposed to look up artwork automatically. I was dissapointed when it wasn't doing it, but I was very happy with the rest of the program so I overlooked this flaw.

After seeing it automatically look up the album art at my house (it was quite magical) I am now frustrated that it will not do the same at my apartment.

Hopefully the staff at Audiosoft will be able to help us get this important feature working. I must say that I do not like paying for a piece of software that is not functioning 100%. Even more frustrating is not being able to contact the makers of the software other than posting on their message boards and hoping that they respond.

...yeah I agree. I was under some vague impression that it could automatically look-up cover art from reading the blurb and forum stuff and was quite disappointed when I upgranded to 3.97 that it still didn't work for me. I created an 'everyting' rule in my ISA firewall that basically allowed everything through (all ports, etc.) but it istill didn't work.

I bet if I connected my PC directly to the Internet with a modem or something, automatic cover art download would work just fine! :)

I am behind a linksys router and have never had any problem with the album lookup. Just to make sure, you guys do have this feature enabled in the settings menu right? It is under the "other" tab. I know the album lookup has come across a few obstacles lately, because the database eJukebox used to lookup the covers from has been changed to amazon.com I believe. Other than that I have no clue :D

Automatic album lookup has always been enabled. It has to be some kind of issue with the router that I am behind at my apartment versus my house.
