I want to modify a skin to use it at my TV with a resolution of 1920x1080. I want to increase the fonts, so I can read the text if I'm 3-4 meters
away from the screen.
My problems:
instead of 500 do 500 x 15
Thx. I did my first steps and could manage some of the points.
Still I could not manage to set the width of the left panel. If I maximize the screen the left panel is always set to the half of the whole screen
width. If I reduce the width of the left panel with drag and drop the whole windows width of EJ will be reduced according to the width of the left
panel (so you see the desktop behind the EJ window).
The width in the ejukebox.ini seems only to be a start value and will be changed if I resize the EJ window. And the 'table { width: 810px;' value in
the songlist.dis seems not to have any effect.
Second problem is the size of the cover image. If I increase the font-size of the album, title and song I have to reduze the size of the cover image.
I tried to add a
Code: |
i will be adding an option to hide the genre and year columns and instead make track titles and album images larger.
before i add the checkbox for it please try this exe and let me know what you think. are the track title areas wide enough? You can clone the original
vinyl skin again to a new name and then you only have to change the font size in the songlist's .title .titlehi and .titleedithi
Shutdown EJukebox and replace over your existing C:EJukeboxejukebox.exe
Yes it works.
As you see, there is a lot of unused space at the left side. And the albumcover is huuuge. Thereby the space for the title, even without genre/year is
very short.
I reduced the font in 'nowplaying' a little. So the albumname is just visible. Woule be great to have a possibility to adjust the size of the
nowplaying cover art to use even bigger font size.
Also the 'Next' text in the playlist is overlayed by the following entries.
started working on an option to stretch the right side wider...an extra 300 pixels on the right like this should be enough for 1080p.
This screen is at 1600x900 so your left side would be bigger. the wider right side is still in the experimental stage. more time and allot of coding
will be needed to get this fully working as an option so please be patient with me.
The 2nd screen shows the current maximum right side width for comparison.
made allot of progress...you can now try the wider right side
It stretches the right side 310 pixels wider than normal on screen resolutions of 1600 width or higher.
There is also the new option towards the bottom on the display options panel...Hide Genre/Year Columns
Try it out and let me know what you think...
