There is a new 3 minute video demo of eJukebox on youtube.com. The previous 6 minute video was made with screencapture software so it had a horrible
framerate. This new one shows more of the features and was captured with a digital camera at 320x240.
You can check out the new eJukebox video: HERE
It is also embedded at the top of the Features section on Audiosoft.Net.
Please Vote/Comment/Favorite/Link on the video to help Spread eJukebox!
Also, if you have a digital camera/camcorder and would like to create your own eJukebox promotional video (which can be more creative that just a
screenshot if u like ;) give it a shot, share it with the forum and I will post it under ejukebox on youtube.
Great Audiosoft, even if it's still a bit blurred.. Maybe you could get a better result if you record from the graphic card video output?
Well I'm not a specialist in video, maybe I'm wrong!
RE: record from the graphic card video output
Pirk, thats a good idea...it would look better and get rid of the monitor flicker visible in the current video. The only problem is I do not have any
hardware available to record the graphic card video output stream directly. For the current video I just stuck a video camera on a tripod and tried to
get it to focus on the monitor the best it could.
Otherwise maybe you could use a screenshot capture animation program, like that: http://www.sebsauvage.net/temp/wink/ipfixe.html
Perfect result, no? The program is called "Wink", it's a freeware: http://www.debugmode.com/wink/
I will give Wink a try but the first video was made with a similar screencapture program and it could not capture all the frames of the carousel and scrolling in real-time. Maybe this one will work better. It would be pretty amazing if it can capture 30 (1152x864) frames a second and still have CPU power available to manipulate eJukebox.
I will try Wink too!
I think you are right, probably the carousel will not spin.. as it's only screen captures chained. In the demos it seems that only the mouse is
animated in real time. I hope that will be better with eJukebox!
I'm reading the user guide (page #6), Wink seems very promising:
I've made some tests with eJukebox.. Wink is really awesome: The carousel spin perfectly, and the resolution is optimum!
Pirk,
Sounds good. I haven't figured out how to get Wink to do that yet. Also, is there any way to output to AVI or MPG?
The output is .swf (Flash). It's in the menu Project -> Render. There are some options in this menu too.. Until now I get a perfect looking
result, but a quite big file! I think that can be optimised mixing screenshots and live captures..
Furthermore, it's possible to edit each frame after the capture, insert new captures or screenshots.. A real cinematographic editing work!
I think there is some free tools that can convert Flash to AVI or MPEG. Like this one: http://www.avi-swf-convert.com/

Very nice set up there! loving the multitouch system!
That's one big touch screen. What model is it? I like the look my guess no drinks allowed on the table? Can you shed some light on the table so we
could see it? I'm interested in the overall look.
I've used a smaller 15" ELO touch screen but the size of the buttons made it a little hard for me to use. Your screen size makes using the buttons
really nice and the table idea looks interesting.
You can also pivot the screen around if you created some hotkeys using Pivot Pro http://www.portrait.com/us/products/pp_overview.html
