Hi,
I'm fairly new to eJukebox, but I liked the program so far in the demo version, so I bought the full version.
Only problem is, when installed and selecting which folder to use for the music library, the program stalls every at the same point, namely when it
has loaded 5979 mp3's. Even after leaving it all night trying to add number 5980, it doesn't continue. When clicking the red cross, I have to
manually shut down the program.
Does anyone know how to solve this? At first, I thought it had something to do with the demo version, but that doesn't seam to be it.
If you need some more info, let me know.
Thanks in advance.
if you have enough free disk space there is probably corruption in the last file it attempts to add. Note the last song file listed in the database
update display...
rename it to filemp3.BAC so that EJukebox doesn't try to add it again (and freeze again)
also do Tools->Add New instead of rebuilding the entire database from the beginning.
Okay, I will try that. I'll let it know whether it has worked or not.
This will work although I haven't had to do it in sometime.
