long time user - first time poster! so no flaming

I've recently moved my jukebox pc from and faithful xp machine to a new windows 7 64bit machine (ejukebox 5.04)

all is good except there is a problem with the windows not being able to be re-sized

adding songs to the playlist works, but the window that displays the song cover file takes up the entire height of hte screen and I cant resize it? its got be beat - Ive tried manually dragging the windows all to no evail (this is the case with all the skins - ive tried many)

the other issue is with once songs are added to the songlist the same song plays and plays not moving to the next song?

any assistance that can be given is much appreciated

can you drag the bar under the play controls up to make the playlist taller?
what display resolution are you running?

There is the edv button => near the top right corner and the > button at the top of the artistlist A-Z buttons. you can toggle those to make the right side as wide as possible which will make the now playing cover smaller.

the bar under the playlist is hard up against the bottom of the screen - and can not be resized - which I understand does sound odd though it doesnt move?

the res I am running is 1920x1080, which I understand is high - though I still thought should work?

the reason the software is no longer registered is that I have tried to uninstall/reinstall within the 30 re-registration period to try to fix the issue - this didnt work as you can see - and I now have to wait it out before I can register again - its a PRO LIFETIME licence!

The cover looks like what i had.
Read my post in BUGS. Let us know it that was the problem, ok?

And for the size, it does start huge, but I have found the bar you need to drag up to resize back to normal, maybe switch screen resos and fix it then switch back?

ok v5.06 is HERE and fixes it so the now playing height can't go beyond the ejukebox height. also it looks like you were hit by the win7 image cash problem which is also fixed in v5.06

i don't think this will be necessary anymore but if the now playing height is stuck beyond the screen at startup you can fix it by doing the following.

1. Shutdown ejukebox and change the following in the ejukebox.ini.
you need to lower the XtraHeight=value to raise the now playing up.

the value is #pixels x 15.
2. change it to XtraHeight=150 which will make the now playing area 10 pixels in height larger than the smallest it can display.

3.Start eJukebox.

thanks for the fix - now displaying correctly which is great!!

only issue now is the fact the system does not move to the next song after the completion of current song

this has occured right from the start?

I've checked the IE settings and appear correct based on previous posts listed, though unsure what else it could be - it must be a setting on the pc/ie somewhere as Ive not had this problem before?

when I hit the NEXT button playlist moves to next song, though not without manual intervention!

what happens instead of going to the next song?
does it stop or start the song over?
are you using winamp with eJukebox?
If yes then make sure repeat and loop is off in winamp.
If not give winamp a try or install klite from codecguide.com.
